can be found at any traditional confectionery stores &#8211; &#8220;Wagashiya (\u548c\u83d3\u5b50\u5c4b\uff09&#8221; all over the country. \u00a0Very early confectionery was created around 700 A.D. which had strong influences from Tang Dynasty (current China), and it had spread among aristocracy with the boom of tea ceremony at the late Muromachi (\u5ba4\u753a\u6642\u4ee3\uff09period &#8211;\u00a0\u00a0around 1500 A.D. \u00a0Wagashi had become truly popular among common people during Edo period (\u6c5f\u6238\u6642\u4ee3\uff09 when warrior era (late 15th to late 16th century) had ended, \u00a0people in provincial towns were able to enjoy entertainments and gourmet foods.<\/p>\n<p>Matsumoto city is likewise, \u00a0number of confectionery shops have been serving their original, delicate and delicious sweets since Edo period (1603 &#8211; 1868). \u00a0 Sorry for the long introduction, yet it was necessary to convey cultural background of these tiny precious sweets.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/visitmatsumoto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Fujimura-11.jpg?ssl=1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" title=\"Fujimura 11\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/visitmatsumoto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Fujimura-11-300x225.jpg?resize=300%2C225&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcci.or.jp\/www\/fujimura\/index01.htm\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Fujimura (\u85e4\u3080\u3089\uff09<\/strong><\/a>is located just right behind<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcci.or.jp\/www\/kurassic\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Kurasshic-kan (\u8535\u30b7\u30c3\u30af\u9928\uff09<\/a>on Nakamachi Street. \u00a0This is an eat &#8211;
