{"id":148,"date":"2010-07-29T00:07:58","date_gmt":"2010-07-28T15:07:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/welcome.city.matsumoto.nagano.jp\/modules\/xpressme\/?p=148"},"modified":"2010-07-29T00:07:58","modified_gmt":"2010-07-28T15:07:58","slug":"summer-festival-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blog.visitmatsumoto.com\/en\/events\/summer-festival-season\/","title":{"rendered":"Summer Festival Season"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/oldxoopswpattach\/tenjinda.jpg\" alt=\"\" align=\"right\" \/>Now, the summer festival season started!<br \/>\nIn downtown Matsumoto and the Fukashi Shrine, <a href=\"\/contents08+index.htm#tenjin\">Tenjin Matsuri<\/a> (heavenly gods sky festival) is held on July 24th-25th every year.<br \/>\nThis year, the dates are Saturday and Sunday; so many people came to join the festival.<br \/>\nIt is fun and a good opportunity for young people to wear Yukata (traditional Japanese clothes for summer) and meet with their friends at night on the first day in the shrine.<br clear=all><\/p>\n<p><img src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/oldxoopswpattach\/tenjinTaiko.jpg\" alt=\"\" align=\"left\" \/>I pulled the float (dashi) of our town <a href=\"http:\/\/welcome.city.matsumoto.nagano.jp\/contents07+index.htm#nakamachi\">Nakamachi<\/a>.
