Express train &#8220;Shinano&#8221; services have also been canceled. Instead, you can take <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alpico.co.jp\/access\/express\/nagano_nagoya\/\" target=new>highway buses from Nagoya Bus Terminal to Matsumoto<\/a>, but some of them are fully occupied. Another option is taking a train to Takayama then ride <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alpico.co.jp\/access\/express\/matsumoto_takayama\/\" target=new>a bus to Matsumoto via Hirayu Onsen<\/a>, gateway to Kamikochi (<a href=\"\/modules\/xpressme\/?p=1687\">a free pass<\/a> might be convenient).
