I thought I had. Then I went to the street performer festival known as the Daidogei.<\/p>\n\"\"\n

Yes, that’s his hair! Dipped in ink. Accompanied by a guy playing the shamisen.<\/p>\n

These folks are truly unique. Which makes this festival an event to remember.<\/p>\n

Matsumoto’s 6th Daidogei street performance spectacle is taking place tomorrow, September 29th, all over downtown, from 10:30 am to 6:30 in the evening. The histrionics will be going on along all the main avenues and down a dozen side streets. You can’t miss it.<\/p>\n\"\"\n

Nor would you want to.<\/p>\n\"\"\n

 <\/p>\n

The forecast is calling for cloudy skies, comfortable temps, and only a small chance of rain.<\/p>\n\"\"\n

 <\/p>\n

So if you’re in town, do whatever you can to make it out and take in the fun.<\/p>\n

Because how often do you get to see a ten-foot-tall sheep?<\/p>\n\"\"\n
